Welcome to our mission for Tree Plantation for a Greener Future!
We believe that trees are the cornerstone of a healthy environment and a sustainable future for generations to come.
By joining hands with government authorities, communities and voluntaries, we aim to make a tangible difference in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and enhancing the well-being of our planet.
Tree conservation has become the need of the hour. Changing nature has forced humanity to pause and think. On one hand, we have soared beyond imagination and achieved progress; but on the other hand, we ignored how our actions are degrading the environment. Today, we are witnessing the consequences of this neglect.
In the race for excessive ambition, humans have built concrete jungles and cleared forests on a massive scale. As a result, the issue of global warming is haunting the world today. Climate change has increased rainfall uncertainty. Rising global temperatures have endangered the very existence of humans and other living beings on Earth.
Increasing population, overuse of vehicles, and the resulting pollution have made it difficult to breathe in cities. If we want clean air and oxygen, there is no alternative to trees. Trees don’t just give us leaves and flowers; they give us the energy to live, they give us new hope, they give us life itself.
That is why tree conservation is the need of the time. Plant trees—and nurture them.
The number of trees in cities is decreasing, and there are many reasons behind this. However, instead of just finding reasons and getting stuck there, we must focus on tree plantation. Because only if trees survive will the city’s health and environmental balance be maintained.
In fact, planting trees and ensuring their survival should be considered a national duty. For that, wholehearted participation from every citizen is essential. Even if the municipal corporation or any government agency plants trees, it is not possible to monitor each and every tree. If citizens cooperate, more than half of the trees can survive.
Therefore, everyone should take part in the tree conservation campaign.
Trees enhance the beauty of any house or bungalow, giving it a sense of freshness. The same applies to cities. Cities with a large number of trees have residents whose faces reflect vibrancy. In many European cities, special attention is given to tree plantation, likely because of the awareness among their citizens.
In India, awareness about tree plantation has increased in recent times, but not to the expected level. That is why campaigns organized on occasions like World Environment Day do not yield the desired results. Considering this, citizen participation must increase—only then will the trees survive.
